My top 5: Things in my bag | Uni version

6/05/2018 08:00:00 am

Assalamualaikum

Hi, this is my first ever what's in my bag series and maybe I'll write more when I feel like it (?) I'm doing this for my go-to class bag because when I was out, I do not usually bring a handbag around - unless I want to put lots of things. When I go out, I just grab my purse and phone and sometimes my powerbank - tu pun letak dekat handbag mak 😐 I just don't really bring many things on me whenever I go out.

But recently I bought a handbag because my mom didn't like to see my pocket bulge when I put my purse in lol

Sebenarnya post ni is not supposed to be in my top 5 pun, because it's literally what I bring every single day to class. But just for the sake of the tag - or series - I still want to include the my top 5 tu hehe. It's okay, right?

Currently, I'm using a simple black tote bag that I bought at Padang Besar for RM10. It's really cheap and don't have any extra pockets besides the main compartment. The reason I bought the bag is because it's cheap (obviously), it has zipper and it's totally water resistant due to the material used - so I don't have to worry about my notes getting wet bila kena redah hujan haha

I have lots of things in put in my bag. Mainly for study purposes, tapi kalau ada benda lain such as powerbank and purse – it’s because I forgot to charge my phone & weh I need money for food lah.

1. Notes
Haha of course lah pergi kelas bawa notes, kan? If the class use textbook instead of notes, then I’ll bring the textbook. I loathe bringing the textbook, because let me tell you – engineering textbooks are super thick and heavy. Since I use one shoulder bad, it’s a burden to my shoulder. So kalau bawa buku, I won’t put it in my bag and instead pegang je.

2. Pencil case
Yang ni memang betul-betul essential. Because I love to write little extra notes that didn’t provide in the printable notes. Sometimes our lecturers will say something extra as side note, but it’s still important for your own knowledge. Even though tak masuk exam, what’s wrong with little extra knowledge kan? Kalau tak nak bawa pencil case pun, at least a pen jadi lah. Takkan sign attendance pun pakai pen kawan ^^” unless you really forgot your pencil case, then it’s acceptable.

3. Highlighters
I will always bring a pack of highlighters. My lecturers usually will tell us tajuk mana yang mereka nak masukkan dalam tests or midterm tests. So they will ask us to highlight the important parts. Tapi ini certain lectures je la yang baik hati bagitahu tajuk tu. Kalau tak, hm pandai-pandai lah study semua balik ye

4. Notebook
After each lesson, I will write the important parts of the lectures onto my notebook. This way, kalau pensyarah tu tanya something from the past chapter, I can quickly turn back the pages and answer them. Tak ada lah nanti lecture tu marah bila taka da sesiapa yang jawab. They’re going to be like “haritu baru belajar takkan dah lupa”. This is uni wei, they expect you to remember everything from day one T_T

5. A4 paper or foolscape paper
This is quite important jugalah. It’s because sometimes my lecturers akan suruh buat assignment or exercise or test mengejut and kena hantar hari tu juga. Not every lesson like this, but when they do it haa kan dah kena pinjam kawan pula. Eh, bukan pinjam tapi ambil dah tak berganti dah. Isn’t it annoying? Bukan nak kedekut lah, tapi make sense lah kan when you bought the papers with your own pocket money and your friends senang-senang minta kertas. Once or twice okay lah, tapi kalau setiap kali macam ni, boleh naik angin jugalah 😓

So these are the 5 things I always have in my go-to class bag. Like I said, these are essentials things I bring to my class je. Just because my class and my hostel is not that far - about 5 minutes walking distance, so I don't necessarily bring water bottle or food.

p/s: I scheduled this post to go up by the time I'm going back to my uni, but apparently it's still in my draft. I don't know what happened, so I'm just going to post this today.

What's in your go to class bag?
is it the same as me or entirely different things?

Until I write again,
Assalamualaikum

MY TOP 5: Frequently use smartphone Apps

11/11/2016 05:06:00 pm
Assalamualaikum

Hi guys, I am back with my 5 top  series. Today I want to share to you my 5 frequently used applications - excluding social media - on my smartphone. Everyone knows smartphone is like one the an essentials in our daily life. We use smartphone to connect with our friends, family and people all over the world.

Right now I'm just using an Android phone. Personally, I prefer to use Android rather than IOS because it's user friendly and it's cheaper - I'm just a broke university student *sobs

1. VSCO Cam
I know lots of people already use this filter app because it's amazing! Although the filters are quite expensive, there are people who are willing to give out their emails and password for all paid filters. I'm one of those people who uses other people's paid filters. If you're interest in getting all the paid filters, there are many vscocam filters accounts on Instagram that will guide you on how to get all the paid filters. You can also set up your Instagram feed using these filters provided by the filter accounts to make your feed much better and nice looking.

2. UC Browser
As for browser, I'm using this particular browser because it's very light. Not in term of storage, but whenever I want to search for something, the page take a very short time to load compare to Google Chrome or Android Browser. They also have lots of features and add-on such as AdBlock, nigh mode and speed mode. Besides, it is very video and download friendly. Whenever you want to watch video, you can adjust the brightness and volume just by swiping up and down at the top and the bottom screen of your phone. It's really makes my watching videos a lot easier.

3. JOOX
For music, I much prefer Joox because I can sing along because it's providing lyrics for every song. Even for my imported songs, I can ask for the lyrics to be uploaded. For a broke student like me, the free VIP feature is very important. I can get one day  free VIP just by sharing the song to WeChat moment or Facebook wall. I am using my brother's old WeChat account just for this hehehehe

4. SuperNote
It's just your average notepad - nothing special for it but maybe it's special because you can choose to write or to type your note. Because of this feature I always draw doodle instead of writing something useful ._. It can change the color of my writing which I can use to differentiate the points of a note. I usually use this when there's motivational talks and I am too lazy to use on my notebook, or when I keep track of my manga reading. This way I won't read the same manga twice (unless I really like it)

5. SHAREit
The best way to share your files to other phones. I'm so glad this app exist because sharing video files with my friends can be quite painful when I use Bluetooth. This app make files sharing more easier and faster than Bluetooth.

That's all my frequently used applications. Mind to share what's yours? :)

I am going back to my uni tomorrow - so not looking forward for 5 hours train ride ;-; as semester break has come to an end. So maybe I'll set time for updating my blog such as 3 times a week or more (?) Maybe I'll think about it later. hehe until I write again.

MY TOP 5 Sports Anime

5/23/2016 09:55:00 pm

Assalamualaikum

Hi today i want to share to you my top 5 favorite sport anime - these may be the only sport anime I ever watch. But don't let that fool you, I assure you these are the only sport anime you will find interesting hehe - this is my opinion, if you ever watched any sport anime more interesting than these, please comment down below :)

The reason I'm doing this is because I'm too lazy to make an entry for every sport anime I found interesting. By doing this entry, I can review 5 things in one post (yeay)

So, without further ado, let's proceed.

5. Prince of Stride - Alternative

Episodes: 12
Genres: Sports
Aired: Jan 5, 2016 to Mar 22, 2016
Summary: The series is about an extreme form of sport known as "Stride." It involves 6 players on a team that runs relay races in towns. The story takes place at Honan Academy where first year high school students Takeru Fujiwara and Nana Sakurai try to recruit members for their "Stride" club. They request Riku Yagami to join with the help of Takeru and Nana. Their goal is to compete and win the "End of Summer," a top competition hosted in Japan alongside other schools.

Review: I put this anime on number 5 is because whenever they're competing with other schools, I can't feel the excitement to win. None. The writer of this anime didn't show that they're very competitive and want to be better than others. All they show is that, they want to win. And they did win. They make it looks easy while in real life, it's not. To me, the competitive part is what makes a sport anime awesome. So yeah, I'd rate 6/10 for this anime.

4. Free! - Iwatobi Swim club

Episodes: 12
Genres: Comedy, School, Slice of Life, Sports
Aired: Jul 4, 2013 to Sep 26, 2013
Summary: The story revolves around Haruka Nanase and Rin Matsuoka. They were childhood friends, but Rin appears to be more competitive and he went to his separate ways. Time passed, and they appeared to compete each other again in a real competition with they respective teams.

Review: I'd rate 7/10. this work is pure fanservice! I don't even know swimming club members need to have muscles like that omg. But that rating did not biased by fanservice this anime was giving, alright. I like it because the competition that bring a team together, also dragging the team down. The competition that break up a friendship, also recover that friendship too. It's a great watch if you're boring and want some entertainment.

3. Prince of Tennis

Episodes: 178
Genres: Action, Comedy, School, Shounen, Sports
Aired: Oct 10, 2001 to Mar 23, 2005
Summary: The world of tennis is harsh and highly competitive. Seishin Gakuen Junior High School, more commonly known as Seigaku, is one of the most prominent contestants in this battle of the finest. Their team line-up gets even stronger with the sudden arrival of a young prodigy from the West, Ryouma Echizen, who is determined to prove himself and escape the towering shadow of his legendary father. This fine addition changes the team forever.

Review: THIS ANIME IS A LEGENDARY!! I've watched this anime when I was in primary school and stopped watching mid-episodes. When I was on secondary school, my childhood friends owns the full box set of this anime, so I just gotta snatch them up and watch it again. The feeling when I watch it again is indescribable. It's like watching my childhood all over again, and believe me when I say it's worth watching 178 episodes because it's truly the best! I'd rate it totally 12/10 (lol)

2. Kuroko No Basuke

Episodes: 25
Genres: Comedy, School, Shounen, Sports
Aired: Apr 8, 2012 to Sep 22, 2012
Summary: This anime follows the journey of Seirin's players as they attempt to become the best Japanese high school team by winning the Interhigh Championship. To reach their goal, they have to cross pathways with several powerful teams, some of which have one of the five players with godlike abilities - known as "The Generation of Miracles" -, whom Kuroko and Taiga make a pact to defeat.

Review: Although this anime is kind of new to me, I can't help but fall in love with their enthusiasm to win the Interhigh Championship. It's actually impress me when Kuroko use his lack of presence to move around unnoticed - I mean how is that even possible!? How can you not see someone you're playing against? This is actually mind blowing, so you should watch it yourself how he did that trick, alright. I'd totally rate this anime 11/10  ಥ⌣ಥ

1. Haikyuu!!

Episodes: 25
Genres: Comedy, Drama, School, Shounen, Sports
Aired: Apr 6, 2014 to Sep 21, 2014
Summary: Inspired after watching a volleyball ace nicknamed "Little Giant" in action, small-statured Shouyou Hinata revives the volleyball club at his middle school. The newly-formed team even makes it to a tournament; however, their first match turns out to be their last when they are brutally squashed by the "King of the Court," Tobio Kageyama. Hinata vows to surpass Kageyama, and so after graduating from middle school, he joins Karasuno High School's volleyball team—only to find that his sworn rival, Kageyama, is now his teammate.

Review: This may be the only anime I actually posted entries individually, because believe me it is THAT awesome! You can read it here (first season) and here (second season) You all may guess how many over 10 I'll rate this anime, right? Yes you got it right, I'd rate it 15/10 if I have to (lol)

So, that's it guys. Draft ni dah lama ada, tapi aku je yang pemalas nak mampos nak taip sampai habis ಠ_ಠ If you're interest in watching sports anime, make sure to NOT miss any of these anime I just recommended to you. I wish you all the best with the excitement and have fun while watching sport anime, because it's going to be
